the games we played
sunday funday, today was our day off (finally) and i slept in until 9 AM!! then i came down to the center at like 9:30 to eat brekkie (cereal). we watched the villan's roast from season 17 (ive been so behind on drag race szn 17...its just not hitting as much as the other seasons I've been watching with my drag race crew) and I worked on my junk journal. Plane Jane looked GORGEOUS! my junk journal is FULL of junk! im obsessed
today I was feeling so lazy, we literally did nothing. we played a bunch of games -- skip bo (which I've never played), cards against humanity (haven't played since like middle school and honestly...it gets kinda cringey idk), and monopoly. honestly the time flew by. i measure the days by the length between mealtimes and the time between lunch and dinner went by literally in an instant.
ALSO! It was Liz's birthday today, the big 2 0. i remember being 20, ahh those were the days. Reese made a strawberry, blueberry, raspberry crumble! it was mighty fine!
we started all stars season 2 today! OBSESSED with the lineup! i've seen all stars season 1, it was okay but i didn't like how they made the queens make teams... im excited for all stars 2 because the cast is AWESOME!!! We've only watched the first episode but nonetheless, i sense great things from this season.
ALSO!!! The bryophytes were forgotten about in this week's schedule... the forgotten flora = the forgotten directed research group. BUT i talked to David (center director, botany professor, husband) and he said we are going out!!! so glad to do something and not be stuck to the microscopes all day. (even though we need to ID our samples BADDDD)
