snorkeling and roleplay
went snorkeling yesterday and i was SO BEAT i had no energy to write a blog post. Im so sorry, please forgive me. but we pretty much went snorkeling, had lunch, went snorkeling again... not much to say other than it was PRETTY EPIC! like i snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef (for the second time i might add)

So THAT was snorkeling and today we had this big scary assignment where we pretty much had to roleplay different stakeholders and act like it was this town hall meeting like thing and the topic was this wind farm being built on aboriginal land right next to the wet tropics world heritage site...so there was only like 2 groups that were PRO the wind farm (1 of them being the company who was building it) and everyone else was against. I was the government department of climate change, energy, the environtment, and water. it was pretty fun, it brought me back to the old harvard model congress days...oh i miss getting california pizza kitchen in my business woman outfit... BUT it was also scary because it was for a grade...so there's that. and ive been so anxious lately i felt like i was gonna throw up the whole time :( but we got to make the closing statement and that was nice but the company withdrew their proposal for the windfarm before we could reject it so that was boring, anticlimactic, and they stole our thunder.
