out on the town
okay guys we are BACK in the CITAYYYY!!!!! So pretty much how it works is after lunch they drive us (in white vans) down the Gillies Highway which is this twisty turney road and it has some BEAUTIFUL views. We had a little hiccup tho and left later because 1) uploading our GIS assignments took too long and 2) one of the cars' battery was dead and we had to jumpstart it (didn't work). then our crazy german professor had to drive us instead of Reese and she's such a bad driver it was scary. and Liz almost threw up (me too)
ANYWAY! We made it to the city. We check into our hostel (Mad Monkey durrrr) and chillaxed in our nice air conditioned room. (god bless the AC)
THEN! we went to the mall to look at cheap phones for me to buy...i didn't buy one i just took pictures for my mom. so i emailed her the pictures and asked for advice. she just said to buy the cheapest one. OKAY MOM <3!! We then walked around the mall to check out the stores: Liz got some pokemon cards, I got a pair of jorts and a shirt which i wore TONIGHT!
THEN! we had dinner-RAMEN! we went to this ramen place last long weekend and we ran into our center director/professor DAVID!!!! he said it was his favorite restaurant so obviouslyyyyy we went again this weekend. it was SUPERB! (picture ass below)
Then we went OUTTT!!!!! to a place called Dirty Laundry and there was a slide to get in but it wasn't that smooth...like my jorts didn't slide well so that made me sad. BUT! it was so fun honestly. the music was classic early 2000s music like the whole night. There was this platform thing in the middle of the room and at one point we all gut up there and DOMINATED it.
